Jonny Duddle – The Pirate Piper

AHOY THERE ME HEARTIES! The Jolley-Rogers and The Pirate Piper, by Jonny Duddle is published by Templar Publishing this month! This family adventure is packed full with hilarity and a good smattering of mischief - the perfect read for all yer little wannabe pirates.

One morning Matilda and the townsfolk of Dull-on-Sea wake to find their town is infested with RATS! Hundreds of them - it’s an infestation! Just when everyone is at their wit’s end, a nautical stranger and piratical Piper called Captain Horatio Rattus turns up with his flute to offer assistance… for a fee. Once the rats have gone, the greedy mayor refuses to pay - so the Pirate Piper plays an enchanted tune and leads all the children away! Fortunately not all them succumb to his tune and it’s up to Matilda and Jim, with the help of Nugget and her magical flute to save their friends.
The Pirate Piper is a pacy and entertaining read and Jonny’s larger than life creations, the detail in the pirate ships, amphibious trucks and environments are a joy to behold.
