Phosphor Art would like to introduce you to Mardo El-Noor. Originally from the Middle East, Mardo is a German-born Kiwi artist with a wide range of interests and skills.
After dabbling with music for a few years – and by dabbling we mean releasing five music albums with EMI and Sony Music – he decided to pursue visual arts academically, while honing his skills in illustration and graphic design.
Initially, he focused on writing and telling stories through animated short narratives, all of which were screened in big and small film festivals around the world, in addition to directing music clips for some of the biggest musicians in his home country New Zealand.
A genuinely multi-talented individual, Mardo's passion for typography and motion graphics allows him to single-handedly execute multi-faceted projects, thus becoming a much preferred option of a one-stop-shop for clients.
Most recently, Mardo has created a brilliant music video for Growing Mould, a (ridiculously catchy) song by Kiwi band Ha the Unclear that you can watch here: http://www.phosphorart.com/check-out-this-catchy-music-video-from-mardo-el-noor/
He’s also just completed his 2015 showreel, which is definitely worth a watch. You can view it here, along with his older showreels:http://www.phosphorart.com/mardo-in-motion/
