Picture book deal for Vanya Nastanlieva
Frances McKay Illustration are delighted that one of our newest illustrators Vanya Nastanlieva has signed a contract for a new picture book for Houghton Miffin Harcourt Publishing Group in the USA after a successful a meeting in Bologna in April with Dinah Stevenson of Clarion Books a division of HMHCO.
Vanya has been a professional illustrator since graduating with an MA in Children’s Book Illustration from Anglia Ruskin, Cambridge School of Art, England.
She has published a number of children's books including the highly commended at the Macmillan Children’s Book Prize for ‘‘Mo and Beau’‘, one of her final book projects for the MA Children’s Book Illustration 2011.
