I was commissioned to design the front cover plus inside illustrations for Bulletin Magazine, the official magazine of The Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists. The inside headline read ‘Celebrating the Shining Stars of the awards’.

They wanted a bright and fun general celebration image to advertise their annual awards. I came up with various ideas involving trumpets, awards trophies and champagne glasses before the final design of a celebration trumpet bursting with streamers and stars was chosen.

The final artwork was done in my usual bright, pop art style with lots of colour and pattern and stars to reflect the inside headline.
