Mark Long has been on a 21 illustration marathon for an exciting project campaign running across The Times and The Sunday Times in collaboration with Sky Broadband, its been running from August last year until till the end of December.
The illustrations were running across The Sunday Times magazine, TImes T2 supplement, and The Times online. The columns were about all the failed events that were happening sadly because of the pandemic.
In 2008 Mark decided to pursue a career as an illustrator after teaching in secondary schools for several years. He likes to draw animals and people, play football and paint murals. Most often using brush and ink or lino/woodcuts, there is a light-hearted sense of humour running throughout his illustrations and a strong graphic quality.
