Max Loeffler / Santoni
Max created several illustrations for “Makers of Beauty”, a social media campaign by Santoni shoes. The colour palette recalls the shades employed by Santoni's artisans in their beautifully crafted hand painting.
The stark contrast invoked between classicism and these avant-garde images gives new life to a classic product. Max Loeffler is a German illustrator influenced by the classic surrealists as well as retro science-fiction book covers. Clients are drawn to the dense atmosphere of Max’s surreal graphic universes, and his ability to visually translate and decipher what can only be felt, not directly seen.
