Something new and rather wonderful by Leonie Bos who had the honour of creating the first ever illustrated cover of Elle Decoration in the Netherlands
As Leonie explains: “I’m always very happy with commissions in which I get as much freedom and support as was the case here. I was given a folder with dozens of design pieces to choose from. And then the fun part began; becoming an architect and interior stylist and illustrator all in one. But mainly the last one, for it's all about form and color. In the end all depicted objects and elements are there to serve the composition. Which doesn't mean I didn’t fall totally in love with that armchair and vase.”
