Steve May and Phil Earle Team Up…
… again! Our superhero duo return as they collaborate on a brand new Little Gem - Supernan’s Day Out!
Supernan’s Day Out is published this month by Barrington Stoke and will have little ones rolling in the aisle and reaching for their superhero capes in the hilarious sequel to Superdad’s Day Off.
As Superdad takes a much-needed day off at the spa, his son Stanley is packed off to the local old folks’ home to check on his Nan. But… Plane crashes, robberies and fires were not what Stanley was expecting on a day out at the seaside with his nan and the other residents! Nan doesn’t know about his superpowers, so Super Stan can’t step in to help as it would blow his cover. Luckily, though, another mysterious superhero seems to be on hand, saving the day. But who could it possibly be?
With his trademark scratchy yet polished illustrative style, Steve’s comic credentials shine through with utter hilarity. From squawking boss-eyed seagulls, voluminous candy floss and much more, every full colour illustration brings the sunshine and drama to this brilliantly funny tale. And if you look closely on the front cover, you might even spot Steve May making an appearance himself - that’s him with the inflatable fish and ice cream, wearing sunglasses and a striped top!
We’ve updated Steve’s portfolio so take a look HERE.
