The SAA are very pleased to be supporting the World Illustration Awards by sponsoring The SAA Agents Award for New Talent.

Kickstarting 2023 with two new projects from Sarah McMenemy.

It’s already been a busy start to the year for Sarah McMenemy, whose painterly style has been commissioned to create a map for a US based design group. Meanwhile, on this side of the pond Sarah has illustrated Daunt Books for The London Magazine.

The maps used for clients, Vestra, who are developing a new live/work area in Las Vegas called UnCommons. Using the illustration as part of their promotional literature, Vestra wanted to make clear that the unique selling point was clearly presented in Sarah’s map, showing how many restaurants, shops and beauty amenities were in walking distance to their luxury apartments.

The client was so pleased with the initial version that they then wanted to extend it further to show the workspaces on offer, all showcased in the brand’s earth tone palette.

Sarah’s editorial for The London Magazine showcases one of the finest bookshops in London, Daunt Books. The magazine featured Marylebone in their January issue and asked Sarah to focus on a wintery version of Daunt Books, with it’s distinctive red brick facade, characteristic of the elegant architecture of the area.

“Daunt Books is just as beautiful inside as outside, there has been a big reaction to this image on my Instagram!”
