We’d love to introduce you to the effortlessly cool world of Tayana Alanis, and say hello to our new signing!
Tatyana Alanis is an illustrator and designer from Anaheim, California now residing and drinking Ranch Water in Fort Worth, Texas. Originally trained as a journalist, she pivoted to a career in art post college, but never lost her knack for narrative.
Inspired by fashion and architecture Tatyana creates illustrations inspired by a mix of nostalgia and present day, depicting timeless snapshots of everyday life.
When she’s not working or rescuing dogs from Target, Tatyana is usually found in the company of Lana and Russell (a mini Rottweiler and infamous escapee Great Dane) hanging out with her husband and friends, shopping for vinyl or running.
Notable clients include The New Yorker, AARP, Raising Canes and Berliner Zeitung am Wochenende.
Notable vinyls include Queen: A Sheer Heart Attack, Black Sabbath: Paranoid and David Bowie: The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and The Spider From Mars
Her illustrations rustle with texture and earthy, retro colours depicting a broad observation of fashion, people, buildings and cosy interiors that we dream to live in!
