Claire Harrup has illustrated 'The Wild Bee Handbook' by Sarah Wyndham Lewis, showcasing the variety of wild bee species in the UK and how we can help them thrive.

She began by hand, drawing and printing all of the elements and textures, building the image up in layers using a light box. She then put everything together in photoshop and coloured the individual layers. Claire created the illustrations on the cover and throughout, prioritising texture and scientific detail in a friendly and accessible way.
