Euromillions x The Guardian – Lisa Sheehan
Six illustrations were created for the campaign, all based around the social media meme 'I won't tell anyone I've won the lottery but there will be signs'.
The illustrations play on regular scenes or objects that have been modified to suggest a lottery win. Lisa has written that “I often work with The Guardian and The Observer, creating CG covers and feature illustrations but this is my first collaboration with Guardian Labs. They approached me as they liked the work I had been creating within the company and thought I would be a good fit for their campaign with EuroMillions.
This was such a fun commission, I enjoy projects where I get to be the set designer, product designer and packaging designer, creating images that play on reality in such a fun way. Composition was key in this project as the ads appear relatively small so the positioning of the overly expensive/elaborate item had to be obvious instantly. The images were sketched out then created in Cinema 4D”.
