Artist Profile – Angus Cameron
Angus has an honours degree in Visual Communication
He has illustrated for ad agencies, film production companies and publishing houses all over the world, specialising in graphic novels, comics, character design and narrative story telling.
While having enjoyed lecturing the art of illustration for few years, he prefers to travel the world, drawing up a storm on his mac and tablet – he is currently working from Los Angeles in the US.
Cameron’s work has won numerous advertising awards including the prestigious Grand Prix prize at the Loeries Advertising awards. He has created several corporate comic books as well as comic books to accompany Hollywood film releases.
He also created, wrote and illustrated the much loved comic strip Lucky which ran in most newspapers in South Africa for 7 years. Angus is also well known for his storyboards and can work in a variety of styles a great speed and quality.
