Lucy Davey has illustrated the perfect walking holiday essential, handy pocket guides for 4 locations across Scotland, published by Pocket Mountains Ltd.
With a look inspired by vintage travel posters, Lucy has captured specific landmarks relevant to the four locations (Edinburgh, Glasgow, Sterling and Falkirk), as well as creating around 30 inside illustrations for each book, “It was a dream brief in many ways – I loved learning about all these landmarks of Scotland and really enjoyed adding the nature and wildlife elements to the images.”
Each book has a distinct colour palette which Lucy uses to great effect throughout, making them a wonderfully visually satisfying set;
“The printed books are so cute and satisfying, I’m so pleased with how they turned out!
