The latest Karl Pilkington book "The Further Adventures Of An Idiot Abroad" was released recently, illustrated throughout by Dominic Trevett . Dominic worked closely with the lovely folk at Canongate Books to produce an array of charming illustrations, maps and hand written elements to embellish each page and help document Karl's adventures across the globe as he attempts to undertake his Bucket List of '100 Things to Do Before You Die'.

Alex T. Smith is represented by ArenaThis masterpiece drawn by Rohan Eason appears on the front cover of the childrens' classic 'The Wolves of Willoughby Chase'. Published by Vintage, Rohan has also illustrated the sequel 'Black Hearts in Battersea' due out this month. He says "...the last illustrator to do them was one of my favourites, Edward Gorey, so I was very excited to be given the chance to do the new versions."

Mixing pattern and texture with form and perspective,Daniel Mackie creates this energetic book cover. Commissioned by Canadian publisher Talon books, Daniel uses his brushes to noticeable effect, illustrating a challenging title; an adaptation of Hesiod’s "two great works, Theogony and Works and Days, taking into account the poet’s essential meditative insights that paved the way for the subsequent achievements of Greek philosophy".

These wonderful illuminated letters were created by Frances Castle for the Guardian's Spiegeltent at the Edinburgh International Book Festival this year. They appeared on deck chairs, canvas bags, stickers, beer mats and book plates. Frances was commissioned by 999 Design to illustrate quotes by famous authors for different book genres: Alexander McCall Smith for Crime, Mark Haddon for Children's, Hilary Mantel for Historical Fiction and Jasper Fforde for Fantasy.
