Welcoming Sunnu Rebecca Choi to The Artworks

 

Award-winning Korean Canadian illustrator Sunnu Rebecca Choi is the latest member of The Artworks family.

 

 

With her instantly recognisable style, astute use of colour and a wealth of experience, Rebecca’s work sings brightly across editorial, non-fiction and picture books.

 

 

She uses traditional printmaking techniques such as etching, monoprints, relief and collagraph as well as analogue mediums such as acrylic and watercolour or combining them with digital drawings.

NB welcomes children’s book illustrator Claudia Petrazz

 

 

Claudia Petrazziis an illustrator and cartoonist from Italy. She works mainly on middle grade/young adult books with Italian and French publishers as Giunti, Mondadori, IlCorriere della Sera, Auzou, Poulpe Fictions.

For Editrice Il Castoro she illustrated the book series Nazar Malik by Olivia Corio,translated in five languages, and the graphic novel Clara e le Ombre by Andrea Fontana,which won the Prix Des Lecteurs Du Var in France and the Living Book Award in Catalonia.

Her webcomic Atomi is her first long project as an author.

Lipstick warmly welcomes Jenna, Her style is playful & whimsical, with a childlike simplicity that is both joyful and nostalgic. Jenna has a background in experiential marketing, styling & production. She works with brands in the luxury sector to create beautifully illustrated campaigns, event stationery, print & digital assets, and product design.

We are proud to announce that our latest Startworks program mentee is the fantastic Katie Thomas, a recent graduate from Falmouth University who blew us away with her incredible portfolio of concise conceptual illustration that showcases her flair for architecture, animals and isometric points of view.
