Kristyna Litten’s Character Designs for DFS The Sofa Experts
These delightful character designs by Kristyna Litten were based on real DFS employees, for their new advertising campaign launched this month. The TV adverts make heroes from the talented team of craftsmen and women behind the UK's largest sofa manufacturer. Kristyna worked from photographs of each person and was asked to interpret them as if they were made of the materials used to make DFS sofas.
Aardman Animations then transformed each of her characters into 30 cm tall models with metal armatures for the painstaking and precise art of stop motion animation.
