Natasha Molotkova – profile
Originally from the Siberian city of Novosibirsk, Natasha graduated from the University of Worcester in the UK where she graduated in surface pattern design.
Natasha works using a quilling technique that involves the use of strips of paper that are rolled, shaped, and glued together to create illustrative designs. This traditional craft has gone through many transformations and changes through the ages using new techniques, styles and materials.
Modern artists are now expressing their designs using a dimensional quilling technique to create inspiring 3D works.
Quilling artwork is captured well by photography, then lending itself to a variety of other uses in design and illustration by mixing the latest technologies with craft-based skills.
