Profile – Mark Long
In 2008 Mark decided to pursue a career as an illustrator after teaching in secondary schools for several years. He likes to draw animals and people, play football and paint murals.
Most often using brush and ink or lino/woodcuts, there is a light-hearted sense of humour running throughout his illustrations and a strong graphic quality. Mark has worked for a variety of clients including, The independent, Guardian, Risk Magazine, GQ Magazine, Google and Oxford University Press.
