Legendary: Claire Harrup Illustrates Britain’s Landmarks for National Trust Books and Harper Collins
Claire Harrup has been commissioned to illustrate Britain’s Landmarks and Legends by Harper Collins for National Trust Books.
She wanted to employ as much variety as possible in the images, so used different times of the day and seasons to vary the colour palette and feel of the illustrations.
Initially sketching out all of the compositions in dip pen and ink, the whole book has acquired a lovely loose and energetic feel.
