Svetlana Molodchenko transforms Williams Sonoma’s signature homeware universe into a richly detailed continuous pattern.
For this commission, Armenia-based Svetlana created a fully vector, continuous pattern capturing the imaginative atmosphere of a 'dream store' for US retailer Williams Sonoma.
Moving away from her usual watercolour and ink work, Svetlana meticulously illustrated multi-level rooms, staircases, table settings, and shelves filled with real products sourced from the brand’s catalogue, every object thoughtfully placed to build cohesive and inviting compositions.
The resulting artwork now adorns a range of packaging across tins, kitchenware, housewares and tabletop products, offering customers a visually layered experience that celebrates the personality and charm of the Williams Sonoma brand.
