Malika Favre – Budweiser Mural
Malika was approached by Budweiser to create an epic celebration of American Olympic & Paralympic athletes. The result is an huge 68 x 28 meter painted mural currently adorning the side of a building in mid-town Manhattan.
The image features U.S. women’s soccer gold medalist defender Becky Sauerbrunn, rugby sevens wing Perry Baker, hammer thrower Amanda Bingson, decathlete Trey Hardee, Paralympic triathlete Melissa Stockwell and Paralympic sprinter Richard Browne, all brought together in a clever striped based lock up.
It was commissioned by creative agency JKR New York and from the looks of things we missed out on a lot of fun at the launch party. U-S-A!
