Phosphor Art are pleased to introduce you to Adam Carter, a lettering and graffiti artist from North London who specialises in large scale artwork and live murals, whilst also creating hand-drawn type for ad campaigns, editorial layouts and packaging.
Phosphor Art's Dave Hopkins was recently commissioned by Laurence King to work on some illustrations in his traditional pen and ink style for an after dinner game.
Phosphor Art's Hani Abusamra has been working on a series of illustrations for BBC Focus Magazine's 'My Life Scientific' series. The Focus team got in touch, having seen Hani's previous work for Liberty and Vidal Sassoon.
Phosphor Art's Alexander Jackson was commissioned by a celebrity (who prefers to remain anonymous) to create large scale portraits of The Ramones for their New York apartment. Being a big fan of the band, Alexander had already worked on some portraits of Dee Dee, Joey, Johnny and Tommy which he updated for the purpose of the job.
Phosphor Art are proud to now be representing illustrator Hani Abusamra. Hani's work cleverly frames pattern, iconic symbol and figurative imagery that results in seductive scenes and portraits that are serious in content and pleasing to the eye.
Phosphor Art's Dave Hopkins was recently commissioned by Navig8 to work on a series of illustrations for Noizé, a new French restaurant in London. (more…)
Phosphor Art's Bill Sanderson recently worked on a lovely book cover for Picador/Pan Macmillan. Skybound by Rebecca Loncraine focusing on subjects of gliders and learning to fly, but is also about a woman trying to reacquaint herself with her body and the world after the terrible trauma of breast cancer treatment. It's a deeply personal narrative that follows Rebecca as her new passion for gliding takes her from her home in Wales all the way to New Zealand and the Nepalese Himalayas. Sadly in 2015, as she was finishing the book, Rebecca became ill again and died at home in Wales in September 2016.
