Beautiful cover by Eleanor Rose for the 50th anniversary edition of the first book ever published by Virago Press. We adore the colours and textures of this Lino illustration. Eleanor is able to capture a real sense of place, atmosphere and feeling.
‘Full of dignity, courage and humour, and as fresh and insightful as the day it was written, FENWOMEN is a vital portrait of rural women’s lives – not only as they were lived in the 1970s in one Cambridgeshire village, but in the generations before it, all over the country, and reaching forward into today’s world, too’ Melissa Harrison

Celebrating Easter with this colourful and joyful cover illustration by Lucy Rose. Lucy also illustrated the inside page borders too, which are equally beautiful and really bring the pages to life.

“Republicans really do prefer steakhouses. Democrats love a good wine bar. And everybody on Capitol Hill eats pizza — at one place in particular.”

Sarah McMenemy illustrated this interesting feature about where democrats vs republicans eat out, for the Politico article, “How to Dine Like a Washington Insider”,

We adore these wickedly wonderful illustrations by Katie Ponder for this new book written by Willow Winsham published by Batsford Books. The book explores the folklore, supersition and history behind witches.

We are absolutely thrilled at The Artwork’s HQ to be welcoming not one, but two, fabulous new artists to the fold!

A selection from the new book ‘3 Mindfulness Minutes’ filled with breathtaking landscapes illustrated by our lovely Amy Grimes and published by Michael O’Mara books.
Katie’s eye for strong graphic compositions and the rich hues she brings to her illustrations created the perfect balance for these iconic images, many feeling reminiscent of stained glass windows with the light reflecting from different angles.
Katie was travelling in India whilst finalising these illustrations and found being in such a colourful and spiritual place really inspiring.
Daniel Long has created this arresting image of a big cat in the British countryside to accompany the article on such in BBC Wildlife magazine
