On Sunday 15th November we hosted the very first Storytime Sunday at The Bright Emporium with the amazing Julia Patton! Julia’s latest artistic adventure, The Curious Tale of Fi-Rex (Fat Fox) is a collaborative story written by celebrities to raise money forBBC’s Children in Need.
The wonderful, Man on the Moon (a day in the life of Bob), by Simon Bartram (Templar), still delights a generation of children since it's publication thirteen years ago, thanks to the continued backing of librarians and teachers around the country.
represented by Artist Partners has been working away on this stunning book. It’s a retelling of Hans Christian Andersen’s The Little Match Girl in a stunning papercut accordion fold book.
On Sunday 18th October we had a super noisy, bear themed Storytime Sunday hosted by the fabulous David Litchfield, who’s recently celebrated the release of his beautiful, debut author-illustrated book, The Bear and The Piano (Frances Lincoln).

Simon Bartram has illustrated the poster and promotional material for Theatre Alibi's new play, Olive & The Dream Train. Simon's surreal interpretation of the brief fits the style and content of the play perfectly and his portrayal of Olive turned out bear an uncanny resemblance to the actor playing the lead part.
