Chrissy Lau's vibrant design, "Lucky 8 Snakes on a Train," transforms Sydney’s light rail into a moving celebration of the Year of the Wood Snake 2025.

Commissioned by the City of Sydney, Chrissy's artwork blesses passengers with prosperity, perseverance, and good fortune, weaving together auspicious symbols and colours.

The snakes, adorned with plum blossoms, orchids, and chrysanthemum, represent longevity and prosperity, while the peony flowers symbolise wealth. Gold coins, ingots, and lunar lanterns with lucky longevity knots complete the composition, set against a backdrop of clouds.

Paperface creates quirky chicken characters for 'Who Flew The Coop?'

'Who Flew The Coop?' is a chicken-themed card game created for Quarto, and set for release at the end of this month.

The project involved crafting a series of humorous, mugshot-style portraits for 24 different chicken breeds, each with its own distinct personality. Research into the breeds and collaboration with the client helped shape the characters, ensuring their traits were visually compelling and integral to the gameplay.
