Lisa Sheehan – her book launch and exhibition at Début Art’s gallery

Lisa has produced a 248-page hardback book presenting over 200 editorial magazine covers illustrated by herself over the last 5 years.

The book contains extensive articles and statements from 49 contributing Art Directors about magazine cover design. Her recent exhibition at Debut Art’s own gallery in central London was a huge success with attendance at the PV’s by many of the Art Directors who have commissioned her and many others. The exhibition featured the launch of the book and over 70 framed magazine covers Lisa has illustrated.

Ana Zaja Petrak – New Artist

We’re thrilled to introduce Ana Zaja Petrak, the latest illustrator to join Meiklejohn.

Based in the vibrant city of Zagreb, Croatia, Ana brings a colour-drenched, expressive illustration style that celebrates gastronomy, Mediterranean slow living, and the beauty of nature. Created using both digital and traditional techniques, Ana’s minimal and playful artworks balance sophistication and spontaneity; a mix that allows her to craft images that feel contemporary, yet timeless.

With an impressive portfolio that includes collaborations with global brands such as Whole Foods Market, Marks & Spencer, and San Pellegrino, Ana’s bold and abstract work has been used to bring many beautiful projects to life from eye-catching packaging to beautifully designed cookbooks.

Anna Broadhurst – Hotel Chocolat

Anna Broadhurst was thrilled to collaborate with the design team at Hotel Chocolat, helping to bring their brand new concept store in Manchester to life with her joyful and eye-catching illustrations. Welcoming visitors to step into an imagined scene that celebrates Hotel Chocolat’s pioneering approach to ethical cacao farming, Anna also created a large-scale mural illustrating the story behind the brand.

Oh Riley, I fear the whole Bright team has too!

Riley is an illustrator who grew up in Cleveland, Ohio. He attended Kent State University and received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Visual Communications and Design. He has since traveled across the country from coast to coast working for various studios as an Illustrator in both the children’s book and greeting card industries. Riley’s work is fueled by his friends and family he has found in the LGBTQIA+ community, as well as his wide array of other passions including the wildlife around him, and good food. In his free time, you’ll probably find Riley tending to his indoor jungle or cooking up something in the kitchen.

Mark Long – 12 Adventure Honeymoons for Easy Jet Magazine .

Mark jumped at the occasion to work with Easy Jet again on their in flight magazine. The article being 12 Adventure Honeymoons. The brief was to adorn the pages with activities honeymooners can get up to in various locations served by Easy Jet, from snorkelling to island hopping in Croatia.

Chris Coady has illustrated 10 books now for the science fiction author Tara Basi. The latest is called Regression with a new book on its way in 2026 called YOU.

DC Helping to Fuel Team GB

Darling Clementine worked on a range of special promo packs for Quaker Oats, helping to fuel Team GB for this year’s Winter Olympics!

There were a multitude of different pack fronts, showcasing the different sports competing at the games. The packs were part of a promotional give away with the chance to win prizes including tickets to see the athletes in action in Milano Cortina!
