Beginning with lots of discussion with the client after receiving the brief, Lucy had to work within the brand guidelines and delivering an overview of how things have changed in paying while travelling over the years, from the 1940’s through to 80’s and to the current day. Preparing images for animation however provided a new set of challenges that Lucy was more than up for tackling;
Who better to ask then Hannah Bailey to illustrate ‘a game of nature and nurture’; PLANTED is a houseplant based board game by well-known game designer, Phil Walker-Harding (designer of Sushi Go amongst others) and produced by Buffalo Games. Hannah has created the artwork for the whole game – the box, the player boards, the cards and even the counters and resource tokens.
Philip Pullman - the brilliantly talented author - revealed his latest book as a lovely animation which will be available and published in September by penguin Random House - beautifully illustrated internally by Tom Duxbury who is proudly represented by Artist Partners.
We are very proud that one of our children’s picture books was chosen to appear on CBeebies Bedtime Stories - the reading of The Eyebrows of Doom....was read brilliantly by no other than Steve Carell the Hollywood actor …
