Chris Garbutt’s Usborne: Teach Your Monster to Read

Chris Garbutt was commissioned by the Usborne Foundation to create character designs and backgrounds for a new online interactive educational game for children. Teach Your Monster to Read: First Steps helps children master the first stages of reading by using synthetic phonics. Chris designed LOADS of monsters so the children can choose their own monster avatar to explore the magical world, meet the island kings and collect letters to win prizes.

Lindsey Spinks special Jubilee project for ‘the Sovereign’

Lindsey Spinks was asked by Sovereign Capital to produce some very British illustrations to decorate their special gift boxes for the Jubilee. To celebrate the reign of our ‘Sovereign’ and also be a bit playful with their own name and logo, they sent out a select number of boxes with sovereign penguin biscuits inside (the penguin is their logo). Lindsey’s illustrations were the perfect touch to tie the idea together, well done Lindsey!
