Images is the ultimate showcase for the best of contemporary British illustration. Now in its 35th year, Images is the definitive independent jury-selected illustration annual distributed to 4000 commissioners, and culminates in a touring exhibition around the UK. The jury consists of nine eminent industry figures including Sam Freeman Art Director Design Week; Martin Harrison - Senior Designer, The Times and Geoffrey Pais -  Art Director,  BBC Learning. Categories include: Advertising, Books, Children’s Books, Design, Editorial, New Media, Self-Promotion and New Talent.

The Images 34 book will be launched at the private view party in September 2010 and can be bought for £39.95 through the Images website. The London show, featuring about 250 illustrations from artists such as David Hughes, Andy Smith and Carolyn Gowdy amongst many others, will be at LCC, Elephant & Castle: 8th September – 14 September 2010 and subsequently touring the UK until September 2011.

Congratulations go to Frances Castle whose work will feature in the Year of Cycling Exhibition from 6 July to 22 August 2010, at the London Transport Museum. Frances' work was one of 50 selected from over 1000 entries in the competition held by London Transport Museum in conjunction with the Association of Illustrators.
