One thing we always appreciate is when a client keeps coming back to use the services of one of our illustrators again, and again. Here is Matt Murphy delivering the goods once more for Trust Magazine for an article titled ‘Casting the Net Wider’ but you already guessed that from the main illustration, right?
We are fast approaching Degree Show time again which is a busy time for many creatives as they scout for new illustration talent.
As part of the SAA Education Programme, some of our member agents will be running free, one-to-one online portfolio surgeries for creative graduates from Falmouth University this month. This programme is one that we really enjoy as it’s an opportunity for us to give advice to emerging talent on how to stand out from the crowd. It gives students an insight into not only what agents look for but most importantly what commissioners want to see in a strong illustration portfolio. We advise students on how to tailor their work for every client as well as give them tips on how to approach new clients and develop the right attitude for a good working practice that will help them build a successful and sustainable career.
