This month we're celebrating all things CLAUDE!
We're very excited to announce that Alex T. Smith's Claude will be adapted into an animated series by BAFTA-winning Belfast-based animation studio, Sixteen South, for Disney Junior EMEA. The new series has just gone into production and is due to air in 2017 - there will be 52 episodes for boys and girls aged 4 to 6 and Sixteen South are keen to evoke the unique visual style of Alex's original pictures.

Introducing… Carly Gledhill
“My name is Carly Joanne Gledhill. Born and raised in West Yorkshire, I graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Textile Design in 2006, followed by a Master’s degree in Children’s Book Illustration in 2010.

On What Inspired the Story
Like many kids who grew up in the 80’s I loved my children’s TV.
Shows like Thundercats, He-man, Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles were personal favourites.My background is in animation, so I naturally lean towards projects that have a more filmic quality to them and so I decided I would create my own version.

With Spring upon us William & Son wanted to take the opportunity to celebrate it’s arrival through some beautiful artwork and animation for their website and social channels. With a little help from Material Organisation, Sarah Maycock and a friend of Frank’s we were able to make this request a reality by transforming their flagship store in London into a visual epitome of the season.
