On Sunday 15th November we hosted the very first Storytime Sunday at The Bright Emporium with the amazing Julia Patton! Julia’s latest artistic adventure, The Curious Tale of Fi-Rex (Fat Fox) is a collaborative story written by celebrities to raise money forBBC’s Children in Need.
Graphics-based illustrator Priya Mistry creates bright playful characters and animations for print publications, smart phones and TV. She draws inspiration from coffee shops, children’s story books, vintage art and animals – the furrier the better.

Miguel Ordóñez recently worked with American talk show host Jimmy Fallon on a children’s book for US publisher Macmillan. The tongue-in-cheek book encourages babies to utter ‘Dada’ as their first word. We think Miguel did a great job with the fun illustrations!
