The Pirates Next Door (Templar) has proved to be a such a hit that the hardback has almost sold out! This amazing book stars the Jolley-Rogers, a pirate family who move to Dull-on-Sea and cause no end of rumours amongst the locals.
We are delighted to announce that The Pirates Next Door has now been shortlisted for two book awards this year - the Waterstones Children's Books Prize and the Sheffield Children's Book Awards. The Waterstones Prize champions new and emerging talent in children's writing for picture books, children's fiction and teen fiction - the winners will be announced later this month.
The Sheffield Children's Book Award encourages children and young people to read and invites school children from over 222 schools to vote for their favourite books in five categories. Jonny's book has been selected along with 5 others in the picture book category - winners to be announced in November. Go Jonny, go!
