We were thrilled to receive our advance copy of The Secret Life of Cows, written by Rosamund Young.

Sarah Jennings’ illustrations are full of line and movement — her characters springing into action at each turn of the page.
This stunning cover illustration for Enid Bagnold’s, National Velvet is by the very talented Graham Carter, commissioned by Egmont for their Modern Classic series.
We just love Euan Cook’s cover illustrations for Gabrielle Kent’s fantasy series, Alfie Bloom - published this month by Scholastic.
Euan’s eye-catching images and lettering beautifully reflect the spell-binding adventure stories about eleven year-old Alfie whose dull and lonely life is transformed after discovering that he has inherited a castle full of wonders and an ancient magic hidden inside him. However, dangerous forces are after his powerful magic and it’s up to him, his family and his friends to keep the magic safe.
Since Phosphor Art's Pastiche artist has been so busy with commissions, they now have a dedicated team of talented pastiche illustrators, each with their own specialism and ready to tackle any brief.
Rohan Eason works on a new edition of Robin Jarvis' classic novel.
Published by Egmont and with a fresh design, Rohan has used his moody pen work to create a cover to entice young readers, he explains, "All previous versions have focused on the evil dogs or the witches themselves. The idea was to create a more dramatic feeling, to represent what the story entails, the magic surrounding the witches and the majesty and power of the book's setting; by the sea in Whitby."
Congratulations to Hannah George and Jennifer Grey on winning The
Surrey Libraries Children's Book Award 2015!

We were delighted to hear that 'Chicken Mission - Danger In The Deep
Dark Woods' published by Faber Children’s scooped the prize. Hannah
loves illustrating these action packed adventures about Amy
Cluckbucket - The Kung Foo Chicken, with a few of the characters being
based on her own pet hens!

This summer saw the release of ‘Spy Cat Blackout’ by Andrew Cope, the next instalment of the fabulous Spy Pet series. Andrew Farley produced another great cover for the series and is working on the next title at the moment, we can’t wait to see it finished.
