In what's becoming a bit of a seasonal tradition, Sarah Maycock was once again asked to help usher in Christmas at William & Son with her beautiful brushstrokes. This year's brief saw Sarah telling the story of a little dog called Humbug, who saves Christmas by visiting the store and lending Santa a helping paw.
Doug was asked to create the Christmas cover for a property magazine, The London Magazine.
Phosphor Art's Bill Sanderson has been working on some Christmas illustrations for BBC Music Magazine. The feature is called 'The 12 Drinks of Christmas', and a wine expert recommends 12 drinks for each of the 12 days of Christmas. The magazine then nominate the appropriate classical works that could be the perfect accompaniment to the Christmas tipple.
The Christmas stamps are reminiscent of decades gone by and have just been issued by Jersey Post. Set in the 1950s and 1960s, the artworks depict a traditional festive activity including bringing home the Christmas tree, making the Christmas cake and carol singing; things that bring the family together.
Melanie Gouzinis, Head of Philatelic at Jersey Post, reflects, “Of course, most of these traditions are still going strong today but Ruth Palmer’s interpretation reminds us of the time before computers and mobile phones, when families wore their Sunday best for Christmas dinner and festive patterned jumpers were worn in a non-ironic way!”

Being experienced in drawing monsters, Phosphor Art's Jonathan Leach was thrilled to be a part of this year's famous John Lewis Christmas advert. Jonathan, who is a trained puppeteer and experienced illustrator worked with agency adam&eveDDB on the campaign by illustrating cheeky Moz the Monster for in-store and online displays. Jonathan uses a combination of pencils, pens and watercolours to create his highly detailed artwork.
An outstanding replica of Fortnum & Mason department store comes in the shape of a gingerbread tin illustrated by Lucille Clerc.
As its nearly Christmas I thought it be good to blog our new and trendy Artist Partners Christmas Card - its fun and festive and its a totally unique style by our talented artist Dawn Austin, who has been customising and making her own dolls, dressing them and setting them all in rather kitsch Diorama's.
