The Fashion Feast summer event was a mix of fashion and food and took place last weekend. Aided by Zoe's map which picked out participating brands and events in the area, the piece was in conjunction with Seven Dials in Covent Garden.
Lindsey Spinks has been asked to take part as one of the artists involved in this years ‘Lindt Big Egg Hunt’. It’s a brilliant initiative in aid of Action for Children, ‘set to be the largest, interactive public art exhibition the country has ever seen. Last year the hunt raised over £1million pound for charity’. Lindsey has managed to take her amazingly detailed illustrations and apply them to the huge egg due to be unveiled in Covent Garden this February. As part of BT Artboxes, London’s biggest public art exhibition supporting ChildLine‘s 25th Anniversary, leading illustrator, Lizzie Mary Cullen was commissioned by First Direct to transform their phone box into a work of art in just 24 hours non stop, starting at 10am on the 18th June 2012 in Covent Garden. Lizzie completed the box with a fantastic design, and it will be auctioned for the charity later this month.
