Its been sometime since we were asked to produce some packaging illustrations - but we had the ideal commission for our artist Angelo Rinaldi - based on a children’s book that he had produced many years ago, a hyper realistic painted picture book entitled : Cow -

Our client is a dairy farmer living in Tasmania who produces milk at his own creamery the company is called “ Shakespeare Hills” and the client was inspired by what he had seen as the children book cover for a label design.
Angelo’s wonderfully realistic style was perfect in order to produce a design that would work across all of his products.

The client is delighted with the finished product. We are too!

Phosphor's Lee Ford recently completed a job for Grace Comms, an award-winning healthcare brand communication agency. Lee illustrated a scene featuring a doctor trying to decide which path to go on, symbolising how doctors must choose which treatment to give a patient. The artwork was used at a conference, online and on flyers.
Lee’s unique approach to graphic image making has a strong connection to traditional print based methods and has evolved through many years of experimentation. These traditionally printed elements are combined with digital and analogue graphic processes that include found ephemera, drawing and photography all described using a playful, visceral visual language that explores both concept and aesthetic in equal measure.
Lee describes his passion for graphic processes and obsession with surface texture as "playful, expressive and emotive". This approach has gained Lee commissions for print and web clients both nationally and internationally; as well as exhibitions in London, New York, Stockholm and Singapore and images published by AVA publishing, Bloomsbury, Laurence King, and Gestalten.
