The Brazilian illustrator Diego Abreu has collaborated with designer Matthew Reinhart and Insight Editions to create A Pop-Up Guide to the Creatures of the Wizarding World, a deluxe publication for which Diego painted the all the key characters and creatures from the Harry Potter universe in intricate detail.
Rob Ball has lent his flair for sci-fi illustration to Lonely Planet Kids new book Future Worlds; a pop-up book for kids describing what may lay ahead in the future.
Frances Castle has illustrated an intricate pop-up book with flaps, pockets, booklets and cards for the Chinese publisher, Ronshin. Famous People Around The World depicts an array of famous people from the sciences, the arts, entertainment, sport and business.
The multi-talented Neal Layton gives us his unique perspective on stars, solar systems and galaxies in The Story of Stars, published by Hodder this month. This fun pop-up book, follows on from the success of The Story of Everything and The Story of Things, which make complicated theories accessible to children. Did you know that the Ancient Greeks did a join-the-dots with the night sky? Or that the sun is our nearest star? Or that stars are born, live and die, just like us?

Leading children's book illustrator, Richard Johnson, has recently produced a magnificent pop up book based on the classic tale of Pinocchio, for Templar publishing. It really is a stunning piece of work, and it sure to be a big hit. His beautifully rendered imagery jumps out of the pages, bringing the story to life in an exciting fresh way. It is an exciting addition to the Templar catalogue, which already includes Richard's successful 'Alice in Wonderland' pop up book. Well done Richard!
