We adore these wickedly wonderful illustrations by Katie Ponder for this new book written by Willow Winsham published by Batsford Books. The book explores the folklore, supersition and history behind witches.

Earlier this month, Phosphor's founder and agent, Trina Wydmanski, had a great time at the London Book Fair meeting and chatting with clients. In particular, Trina was showing work by artists who illustrate children's picture books, or who have published titles in the past, including Alexander Jackson, Christopher Nielsen, Mandy Millie Flockton and Lee Ford.

Find more children's picture book illustrations on the Phosphor website, or contact Trina at Phosphor if you'd like to commission an artist to work on your next picture book.

In celebration of 100 years of the iconic Shipping Forecast, Mark Frudd created this wonderfully blustery illustration for Radio Times.
We love the colour palette of this stylish cover illustration by Hello Marine for Homesick written by Silvia Saunders.
Camila Gray weaves wintry magic into the cover of this festive novel.
Camila's enchanting cover for The Secret Christmas Bookshop captures the cosy magic of a wintry seaside village.
Commissioned by HarperCollins, her illustration sets the perfect scene for this festive tale of romance and mystery, where snow-dusted rooftops and twinkling lights frame a story about unexpected connections.
The soft hues and delicate details draw readers into Sophie and Harry’s world, where a mysterious book sparks a journey that blurs the lines between fiction and reality. It’s a cover that feels as warm and inviting as the story within.
As is the case now we are often asked by a certain amount of self publishing authors to commission a suitable artist to produce their own covers, and to re-create their vision for them for the cover in this process.
We are delighted to share one such image - the author: Luigi Kohli commissioned and entrusted our very own Paul Young, who is well known for his historic paintings for both fictional book covers and factual non fiction books to produce this stunning painting for the cover of the first of a proposed trilogy of books, continuing the story of the Novel Ben Hur by Lew Wallace. This book also includes some beautiful internal black and white hand drawn and illustrated maps.
The first of the books has now been revealed - and can be pre ordered now from Aletheia | Troubador Publishing

We have some exciting news - Chris Moore the world famous artist and one of the very best of artist partners illustrators, particularly well known for his work in the science fiction genre.
Chris has released some of his amazing back list images which are now available to buy on our online shop, in order to procure excellent high quality prints. Chris has illustrated many covers for authors like :Isaac Asimov, J.G. Ballard, Arthur C. Clarke, and many Pillip K Dick covers and other mainstream names. At one time in the early 2000’s at a book launch it was said that out of every nine paperback covers being commissioned 7 of them carried Chris Moore covers. Chris also worked on many seminal album covers too, and other prestigious projects.
For more of Chris’s phenomenal work check out the website and the shop: Seen here the image Ubik which was commissioned for a paperback cover by author Phillip K dick, published by Grafton Books in 1991 -
