Steve May Illustrates the 6th Diary of Dennis the Menace: The Great Escape!
Two years ago, Steve May's dream came true when he landed his dream job of illustrating his favourite comic book hero, Dennis the Menace. This month sees the publication of the sixth and final book, The Diary of Dennis the Menace: The Great Escape, (Puffin) written by Steven Butler.
Steve's illustrations almost jump off each page as the Prankmaster General gets up to his usual antics by causing mayhem at an elite boarding school where he is trapped. With help on the outside from his menacing buddies, the Bash Street Kids, and Gran on her Charley Davison bike, along with plenty of fart pellets, Dennis plots a scheme to make his great escape from the bookish boffins and super-healthy school dinners.
