Enid Marx
There are many interesting exhibitions on during the summer months - but this one I am particularly looking forward to:
Enid Marx = Print, Pattern, and Popular Art. exhibition running until 23rd September at The House of Illustration - as I represent a number of artists who enjoy working in pattern and print - this is something I really must see.
Enid Marx (192 - 1998 ) was a textile designer, and illustrator who along with her contemporaries of that time - Bawden and Ravilious was extremely influential at that time and even more so now as people are engaging with mid century design.
