Here are some new images created by the artist Gary Blythe who is known for his beautiful realistic and painterly illustrations on many best selling  and award winning picture books, but here is another more experimental dimension to his work showing coloured shapes in bold harmony.

These vibrant abstract images  are created intuitively,  and which on creation sometimes reveals some interesting facts about his own personality.

Some of the images are created with cut card and ink, others in gouache on paper.  The main image below is to show beauty of balance!
