Back in late 2018 Taschen approached Phosphor Art's Ben the Illustrator, asking if he would be interested in submitting a selection of work for their new book. Whilst Ben has been featured in several illustration books before, it was a career goal of his to be featured in a Taschen book.

This summer he found out that he had been successful and recently got to see the book for the first time when it was published this September. The Phosphor team are very proud of Ben and all the work he does to promote illustration.

Entitled 'The Illustrator: 100 Best from around the World', the book features Ben the Illustrator, alongside 99 other incredible illustrators including Peter Blake, Jean Jullien and Jessica Hische. Ben is proud to showcase his work on three double page spreads in the book, featuring portraits, city scenes and figurative work, all in his signature bold vector art style.
