Gin Craze!
A new musical set to hit the stage next Summer has promotional material illustrated by Caroline Church.
Commissioned by Erin McDonald at Northampton Arts Management Trust, Caroline's brief was to create a fun image with a modern take on a Hogarth style, illustrating a love ballad about the women who live on Gin Lane in 18th century Britain. Containing 'energised revelry with an element of edge, grittiness and a touch of darkness’, the art has a timely feel and sets the scene for 'a journey through joyous excesses'.
