This stunning book is beautifully written by A N Wilson, and it retells the true story of King Haakon of Norway who escapes during the second world war, and comes to Great Britain. It is a most heartwarming true tale of courage, and the enduring warmth and friendship between the two nations Great Britain and Norway, that still endures. Each Christmas as a gift we receive our beautiful Christmas Tree in Trafalgar Square from the nation of Norway as a thank you.
