Iris de Luz wins at AOI World Illustration Awards
Phosphor's Iris de Luz won the Directory of Illustration Award at this year's World Illustration Awards! Out of over 5,000 entries, Iris' work shone through, and she winsa a single page marketing package in the Directory of Illustration, a 100-image professional portfolio on directoryofillustration.com and a consultation with the DoI team.
Iris used photos of different parts of flowers, seaweed, and other natural textures - precious stones, fruits, sweets and 3D vector shapes to create her artwork. She searches through photos for many hours, focusing on the textures that will suit a particular job. Iris thinks of her work as if it is part of a digital eco system where each element when joined with the others builds a new character.
