James's main artworks feature people but he can take his hand to maps too, albeit in his own distinctive style.
James studied illustration at Cardiff School of Art and Design. He works with a combination of bold, graphic illustrations (often with a splash of lettering for good measure) to create playful imagery inspired by the mid-century children’s adventure books and packaging. James currently lives and works in Bristol.
