THE WORLD ILLUSTRATION AWARDS LONGLIST
The Association of Illustrators, in partnership with the Directory of Illustration have just announced the World Illustration Awards 2024 longlisted projects chosen by the judges from over 5,000 entries that were submitted. 500 projects have been selected across all 10 categories - VIEW THE LONGLIST
Over the years, many entrants have received significant, career boosting exposure through the wider awards programme. The competition invites Professional and New Talent submissions and The SAA are very proud to offer the SAA Agents Award for New Talent which gives the winner an exciting opportunity to received 6-months trial representation, portfolio advice and mentorship from one of their member agents. The winner of last year’s award was Billy Partridge for his un-commissioned Book Cover project titled The Jabberwocky - he is currently being mentored by Caroline Thomson from Arena Illustration. The WIA2024 shortlist of 200, along with the winners will be announced later in the year.
