Becky Thorns was thrilled to collaborate with author Julia Donaldson for her Pick and Mix Poetry anthology. With over 300 poems, each poem hand-selected by Julia, and gorgeously illustrated throughout by Becky, this is a sumptuous treat that is perfect to dip into or pore over and spark a lifelong love of poetry.
FangFang Han wins the WIA SAA Agents Award for New Talent in Illustration
We are delighted to announce that this year’s World Illustration/SAA Award for New Talent winner is FangFang Han for her animation ’The Tube', FangFang Han's prize will be six month’s trial representation including mentoring and career development by one of the SAA’s member agents.
Lucy Davey Highly Commended for Waitrose Christmas Winter Village Chocolate Box
Lucy Davey came highly commended at the recent World Illustration Awards, for this beautiful packaging project for Waitrose. Lucy illustrated the Christmas Winter Village Chocolate Box, depicting a magically festive scene full of fun details to spot.
It was a joy to see Lucy’s work brought to life on this inventive packaging, and to see it recognised in the WIA Awards. Well done Lucy!

Her extraordinary artwork for the British Library’s winter 2023 exhibition, 'Fantasy: Realms of the Imagination', captured the magic of fantasy literature from Tolkien to Neil Gaiman.
Filled with mythical creatures and legendary figures, her intricate design transported viewers into a world rich with wonder, mystery, and storytelling. Congratulations, Sveta, on this well-deserved recognition for such an epic creation!
